Restaurant365 is the right answer for a real finance function.
If you have a controller, a chart of accounts you care about, and multi-entity accounting that has to consolidate, a full back-office suite is what that job needs and this is one of the best of them. Nothing on this page pretends otherwise. The case below is about a different operator, not a worse product.

An implementation is a real cost measured in weeks and attention, and it is the right cost when a finance function is receiving the result. If nobody is, it is the whole reason the software never got used.
Do you need accounting, or do you need to know where the money went?
These are different questions. A general ledger tells you what happened after it was booked. A leak model tells you which shift it happened on, while there is still somebody to ask.
Who is going to own it?
A suite assumes somebody whose job is the back office. If that person is also the one closing the till, the honest answer is that the suite will be underused rather than wrong.
