Getting started
Nothing to migrate.
Nothing to type.
The most expensive part of new software is usually the switch. This one reads what you already produce, so the switch is a connection rather than a project.
Six things you do not have to do
Three steps, and one of them is waiting.
Connect the register
Sign in, name the room, authorize Clover or Square. Your history comes in on the way through, so nothing starts empty.
One session
Look at what already went
Before you change anything, read a week you have already worked. The engine runs against your backfilled history the same day.
Same day
Bring the crew on
Staff to the clock via a magic link — no app store, no download. From there the schedule and the forward cover start working.
By the first weekend
The first two weeks, honestly.
Some of this is good on night one. Some of it needs a week of your own trade before it is worth reading. Here is which is which.
Day 1 — Yesterday, priced
The backfill means the first read is a real one. You are looking at a week you already lived, with numbers on it.
Nights 1–7 — It learns your normal
Each night widens what it knows about this room. Early findings are marked lower-confidence rather than asserted.
First weekend — Forward cover starts
Once there is a week of your own trade, next Saturday gets a staffing read rather than a guess.
Day 14 — Nothing happens
The trial ends. There is no card on file, so nothing charges. You decide, and the data stays either way.
It is a connection, not a project. Start tonight.
The register you already run, and a week you have already worked.
