This is not a page arguing you should replace it. A register is infrastructure — it takes payments, it holds your menu, your staff know it. Ripping one out is a genuinely disruptive project with a real cost, and nothing here is worth that. OpslyIQ reads the register you already run.

The questions it actually turns on
Does the void get checked against the count?
A void is only a signal when something else disagrees with it. On its own it is a busy night; next to a variance on the same shift, it is a question worth asking.
Does the cash that was rung reach the bank?
The register knows what was rung. The bank knows what arrived. Nothing in a point-of-sale platform is positioned to notice the difference, because the deposit is not its data.
Is the labor figure fully loaded?
Employer Social Security, Medicare, and federal and state unemployment ride on every hour worked. A labor number without them is a wage number wearing a labor label.
